Getting started with The Speech Space is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step 1
Start by calling Amanda at (908)839-0471, filling out an online inquiry form, or schedule a free consultation. She will collect some background information about your child, make recommendations for the best next steps, including scheduling, and answer any and all of your questions about evaluations and therapies.
Step 2
Attend your first appointment. We will complete a comprehensive evaluation based on your child’s needs in order to determine your child’s communication strengths and challenges. This will help us make a plan to address any concerns related to speech or language.
Step 3
Speech or language therapy sessions begin! Amanda will make recommendations regarding frequency and duration of therapy based on evaluation results and observations. Our sessions are fun, interactive, fluid, and individualized to meet your child’s needs and interests!

In your home
The Speech Space travels within Tallahassee and surrounding areas to provide in-home therapy. Your child is able to work towards their goals in the comfort of their own ‘space.’
In the community
Therapy can take place in a public space, like the library or a favorite park if weather permits within Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
Teletherapy
The Speech Space is able to provide teletherapy services through an online platform that is HIPAA complaint and secure. Teletherapy is a way to provide therapy within your home or wherever you are within the state of Florida!
